New warping in MagiZinK for outstanding corrosion resistance
Performance for the outer covering still more reliable over time
Castellina Marittima, June 23, 2010 - From Knauf continued commitment in Research & Development, is the new range of warping MagiZinK, designed to increase the level of performance of building systems Dry Knauf.
Knauf is the first European company to introduce its range of products in steel MagiZinK warping, an alloy with the unique technical characteristics. The name
MagiZinK recalls the two main components of the coating, Magnesium and Zinc, and highlights the difference of this product compared to traditional steel. The metallic coating MagiZinK obtained by the immersion of the steel during hot tubs in the production of magnesium, zinc, and - in smaller quantities - Aluminium, is resistant to corrosion than 5 times that of galvanized steel. The range of warping
MagiZinK shows a surface finish Microstella reduced passivated chromium-free and oil free. The metal frame
MagiZinK are integrated into the system AQUAPANEL ® Knauf improving performance for the construction of walls, facades and exterior walls that will last and be reliable over time. Moreover, by virtue of their anti-corrosion performance, the warping in MagiZinK are also suitable for interior applications in humid environments and in the presence of interstitial condensation.
